SLPPOA Subdivision Plat
When viewing the map, the Whip! ActiveX (For IE) will load automatically if needed. It is ~ 1.5M and will take approximately 7.5 minutes to download @ 28.8Kbps. The Netscape plug-in is comparable in size and download time but doesn't install automatically. The WHIP! viewer is only supported for i386 systems (PC). There is a viewer available from ArNoNa for Java-enabled browsers. The viewer has been used on multiple platforms including SunOS, Solaris, Digital Unix, OS/2, Mac, Linux, Windows 95/NT, JavaStation, and Network Computers. I have published the DWF in an earlier format for cross platform compatibility... email me if you have problems viewing with this viewer.
| This plat map was
created by scanning an E-sheet drawing (courtesy of
A.L.S.) of the Sierra de Los Pinos Subdivision plat and
then converting the raster image to vector format. These
vectors were then edited with AutoCad R14.1 and 2000 and
then published to a .DWF format for viewing with the Whip!
viewer available
from AutoDesk,
Inc. Click on the image to the right to display the DWF image. The Whip! viewer is required and all below instructions assume it has been installed. After it loads in a new window, right-click on the image to pop up the control menu. What's cool about the viewer is that you can zoom, pan, print, turn layers on and off, and other things with the image. Also, it is a vector display format which means you don't lose detail as you zoom. Just right-click on the image after it loads to pop up the control menu. Check it out! If you want to quickly access the map in the future, save it to your local hard drive by right-clicking on the image and choosing "Save As..." and save it as a DWF file. Since the Whip! viewer is installed, opening (ie: In Windows, double-clicking with Explorer) the file you just saved will open it in your browser. Slick.......... |
